Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Dev Spark Technologies ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through devsparktech.com and our services, why, and what rights you have.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you give us
- Contact and quote forms: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, company, country, the services you're interested in, budget range, timeline and your message.
- Chat assistant: the questions you type, so we can answer them and improve our answers.
- Calls and messages: anything you share by email, WhatsApp or on a booked call.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Technical data: approximate country (from your IP address; we do not store full IP addresses), browser type and pages visited.
- Campaign data: the ad or link that brought you to the site (UTM tags and click IDs), stored with your enquiry so we know which channels work.
- Cookies: see our Cookie Policy. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics and marketing cookies are only set after you agree. Elsewhere they are on by default and you can switch them off any time.
We do not collect payment card details on this website.
2. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and deliver our services.
- To send you an email confirming we received your message.
- To improve our website, content and chat answers.
- To measure our advertising (with your consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland).
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
Our legal bases are your consent, steps you ask us to take before a contract, our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business.
3. Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We share it only with providers that help us run the site and services:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, form storage, spam protection (Turnstile) and the AI that powers our chat assistant.
- Our email provider: to send and receive email.
- Google and Meta (and LinkedIn or TikTok where used): analytics and advertising measurement, subject to your cookie choice.
- Calendly and WhatsApp: when you choose to book a call or message us there; their own privacy policies apply.
Some providers process data outside your country, including in the US. Where required, they use safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Data security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you or deliver your project.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted after 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as needed for the project and for legal and tax obligations. Chat questions are kept in anonymized form to improve answers.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California law), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Third-party links
Our site links to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes are posted here with a new "last updated" date.
